Each holster is individually hand crafted and made in Cape Town, South Africa , using Kydex T . We do not use recycled Kydex material. Quality over price. Shinobi Kydex specializes in concealment carry holsters and are made with either vacuum forming or traditional pressing techniques. Carefully temperature controlled environment ensures that the Kydex is not over cooked or hard baked which can lead to premature fractures. We have an inhouse secret for controlling this variable to a very high control.

The holsters come with a unique feature whereby you can disassemble them for cleaning, as they have a tendency to gather dust and other fibres which may impair weapon functionality if left unchecked for too long. We make holsters that we carry daily ourselves and depend on them to work every time, everywhere. A holster should have good retention and stay in place. All holsters feature a double clip system, using J clips, that are fully adjustable for cant and ride height. We fully believe in a double clip retention system for maximum security and a consistently accurate purchase of weapon. All holsters are suppressor height compatible and have been since 2018

Purchase refers to the grip placement when you access your weapon in its holstered state. A good purchase means you get the correct, web of hand fully into dovetail grip, that you will utilize when firing your weapon, no regripping is necessary. Double clips ensure that the weapons stays in the exact same position with very little travel either way, for a consistent purchase when accessing your weapon. Single clip attachments tend to sway or drift quite a bit. To explain it this way. your muscle memory is trained to retrieve the weapon in a very specific space in relation to your body. like you car key that you put in a tray as you enter your home or hang up on a hook. Its always in the same spot and you dont have to think much about where it is. Even in the dark you’ll be able to reach and access them. Same principle with regards to a good grip for EDC or sport shooting.

Why are the lead times so long? – Every holster is hand made by myself and making things by hand does take time. Im a one man show so Im responsible for a great many things, from social media, courier and packaging, supplies and stock maintenance, tool maintenance, manufacture of holsters, mold design and development, gear testing, checking emails, checking emails on 6 different platforms, eating, having a life, training, website maintenance, etc etc
Where is my shipment? – after the order has been placed, it roughly takes about 3 weeks for me to get to your order, everything gets throw into my production line. When the holster is finished and ready to ship, Ill have to log it with the courier company for collection. Once it gets collected, any communication regarding tracking etc will be done via The Courier guy, they send out emails and whatsapp messages, hence why its essential to make sure your details are correct.
